Certificate of Christian Apologetics Curriculum Overview
A Five-Course Curriculum by Pamela Christian
Welcome to this curriculum on Christian Apologetics.
Christian Apologetics has traditionally been a specialized field of study. However, since apologetics provides reasoned arguments to justify the Christian faith, and all Christians are commissioned to share the gospel (Matthew 28:18-20) I believe apologetics should be taught to all Christians to better equip them to confidently know and share their faith. This curriculum seeks to help us integrate apologetics into every area of Christian living and is for both Christian leaders and everyday Believers.
Jesus instructs us to demonstrate our faith in such a way that we attract others to Him, and being prepared with a ready answer for the reason of our hope is essential. Therefore, expect to learn the importance of apologetics, how to effectively use apologetics to reach people, and how to train others to do the same.
Whether you are taking these courses in support of a formally registered church, home church, chaplaincy or para-church ministry, this material will help you become better equipped as a leader in the faith—something all Christians should be regardless of their particular role in the Body of Christ.
As you progress through this curriculum, if you have specific questions please reach out to your assistant instructor, Professor Frank Codispoti.
