Embracing Moral Truth; Why Bible-Believing Christians Will Soon be in the Crossfire
Acceptance and diversity quickly supplanting the biblical values of our forefathers
Yorba Linda, California – The religious beliefs and behavior of Americans have changed dramatically in the last decade. These changes are responsible for policy changes in everything from gay marriage, educational reform, and recent Supreme Court rulings. “Faith in America is definitely in a crisis” observes Pamela Christian, who studied apologetics at Biola University.
The key changes began as religious diversity and tolerance replaced beliefs in absolute moral truth which largely sustained American values since its founding. These changes translated into redefining sexual behavior, marriage and personal responsibility but spilled over into churches as well. According to Christian, “Subjective truth is not only irrational, it’s also exceedingly dangerous.” What makes it dangerous is that all ideas are seen as having equal value regardless of logic or facts. Pamela Christian announces release of “Examine Your Faith!”
New religious book explores the ‘crisis of faith’ and offers absolute truth as the remedy
ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. – America is in a faith crisis, according to speaker and author, Pamela Christian. Many people believe that all roads lead the same heaven and God. Many also believe that truth is relative. Additionally, as reported by an ABC News website article, “Americans are Surprisingly Flexible About Religion,” nearly 6 in 10 Americans are attempting to blend different traditional religious beliefs and New Age, to create their own faith.
In response, Christian has written Examine Your Faith! Finding Truth in a World of Lies (published by WestBow Press), to be released September 15, 2013. It is endorsed by Josh McDowell, Dr. Craig Hazen and Dan Story among others and is available at all major book retailers. In it Christian takes readers through the process of understanding truth and the impossibility of religious pluralism. She explores the five major world religions, and New Age, to demonstrate that these religions and philosophies cannot be blended together without some serious compromise and danger for the individual.
