Because of the extreme worldwide realities involving governments, world leaders, wars and potential escalation of wars, medical tyranny, media censorship, rampant and unrelenting crimes against humanity, efforts for world dominance with no respect for God, and the unavoidable personal tribulations we all experience, this post is late.
With my weekly podcast, I have sought to keep up with current events to help us all discern the times from a biblical and prophetic perspective so we can respond as God wants His children to. As I seek the Lord, I sense I have been successful even with the increasing advancement of the most vile evil worldwide. However, as the enemy is in panic mode, and truly pulling out all stops in world events, while adding even more to our individual trials, I know all my brothers and sisters in Christ are feeling considerable pain and a drain on their faith. Likewise, our family has been enduring one of of the top four most devastating situations of all times, now. I have several close friends whose families are enduring particularly intense trials too. Given what I’ve been learning with the research for my podcast, I am actually able to take comfort in the timing of the evil pressure, and hope to impart some of the same hope for you.
I pray for all of us to choose resolute determination–to choose the “Spiritual Tenacity” Oswald Chambers taught about:
“Tenacity is more than endurance, it is endurance combined with the absolute certainty that what we are looking for is going to transpire. Tenacity is more than hanging on, which may be but the weakness of being too afraid to fall off. Tenacity is the supreme effort of a man refusing to believe that his hero is going to be conquered. The greatest fear a man has is not that he will be damned, but that Jesus Christ will be worsted, that the things He stood for–love and justice and forgiveness and kindness among men–will not win out in the end; the things He stands for look like will-o’-the wisps. Then comes the call to spiritual tenacity not to hang on and do nothing, but to work deliberately on the certainty that God is not going to be worsted. If our hopes are being disappointed just now, it means that they are being purified. There is nothing noble the human mind has ever hoped for or dreamed of that will not be fulfilled. One of the greatest strains in life is the strain of waiting on God. ‘Because thou has kept the word of My patience.’ Remain spiritually tenacious.” 1
The first time I read those words of Chambers, my family was living through what turned out to be four consecutive years of under and unemployment. We went from over a three-figure income between my husband and me, to nothing. We were forced to sell anything we could live without, were reduced to one car and we lost our home to foreclosure. There was more than one occasion it looked like this family of four would be living out of our car. This tribulation was no fault of our own, but rather circumstances that were forced upon us. I was a volunteer Bible Study Teacher at the time and knowing that the class members were watching me live out my faith before them, I learned spiritual tenacity by being in the fire.
Today with all that is going on in the world and our family suffering a tremendously serious long ordeal yet again, I praise God for teaching me in the past, what I would need to get me through the present. Once again, I have people observing how I live out my faith because of the reach of my podcast. Once again, I have the assignment from God to encourage others to dig deep into the Word of God to gain every morsel of strength possible to successfully endure the present times. Once again, together as God’s people, have the high-calling to endure to the end. And to help us, God has repeatedly given us extensive prophecies that are consistent with His Written Word, that He will not be worsted. The enemy is very soon to be judged, God’s people experience justice and recompense in the process. God has made clear these are not the last of the last days, but a foreshadow that will usher in the greatest revival the world has ever known.

We have been blessed to be alive in these present times when we will actually see God intervene in the affairs of humanity like never before. And please, by all means, don’t take my word for it, take God for His word on all this, Amen.
